BLUE SEAL SENTINEL SENIOR is a uniquely balanced pressure cooked feed formulated specifically for senior horses, prematurely aging horses, or those with poor teeth. SENTINEL SENIOR is also recommended for horses with challenged digestive and/or metabolic systems - contact your Blue Seal Sales Representative for specific recommendations. Good quality hay should be offered to help maintain good digestive function and prevent boredom. DAILY GUIDE: Approximate feed weight to volume: 0.85 lb = 1 quart. It is necessary to adjust the feeding of SENTINEL SENIOR to the condition of the horse. Provide salt and plenty of fresh water free choice.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent/Blue Seal product or even between Kent/Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Kent/Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one week to 100% of the new Kent/Blue Seal product.
