Clavulanate weakens some Amoxicillin-resistant bacteria, causing them to become susceptible to it. Amoxicillin stops the bacteria from forming a cell wall.<br><br><b>Special Precautions</b><ul><li>Safety has not been proven in breeding or pregnant animals.</li><li>Animals who have a history of penicillin or cephalosporin allergies should not receive this medication.
