This ultimately leads to the healing of ulcers by preventing the secretion of gastric acid.<br><br><b>Special Precautions</b><br><br>This medication should be kept from both animals and children. Medications like Ketoconazole and Digoxin are known to cause interaction with Famotidine.<br><br>Use caution when giving this medication to pets with heart, kidney, and liver disease.
