Meadowlite is formulated with sun-cured alfalfa, top quality timothy hay and mineral supplement designed to replace all other forage in your horse's diet. Meadowlite Alfalfa TImothy Horse Pellets are formulated to be fed to horses of all ages. Feed at a rate of 1.5% to 2% of body weight per horse, per day depending on body condition and work intensity. For example: a 1000 Lb. horse = 20 Lbs. of Meadowlite per day. Multiple feedings throughout the day are recommended, divided into two equal portions. We recommend soaking the pellets in a container of water for horses with sensitive teeth or difficulty chewing. All horses should always have free choice water.

Gradually replace existing hay with Lakin product over a 7 day period.
