It is an alpha-blocker.<br><br><b>Special Precautions</b><ul><li>Keep out of reach of animals and children.</li><li>Not recommended for use in animals with hypersensitivity to tamsulosin hydrochloride.</li><li>Sustained-release pellets in capsules should not be crushed. Rapid oral consumption can cause hypotension.</li></ul><b>Overdose Information</b><br><br>Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.<br><br><b>Side Effects</b><br><br>Tamsulosin Hydrochloride can cause temporary infertility in dogs due to reactions such as a temporary reduction in ejaculate volume.<br><br>Higher dosages could result in hypotension.<br><br>If any symptoms of toxicity are observed, discontinue use and inform your pet's veterinarian.
